Male Fertility and Your Conception Journey
Conscious Conception & Fertility with Claire Anstey
If you have been told that male factor infertility is part of your fertility picture, you are navigating something that is still spoken about far less than it deserves to be.
The fertility conversation has historically centred on women. The investigations, the treatments, the emotional support, the communities, they have largely been built around the female experience. And yet male factor infertility is a significant part of the fertility landscape, contributing to around half of all cases where conception is proving difficult.
If you are a man reading this, or a partner supporting the man in your relationship, you are in the right place. And you are not out of options.
Understanding Male Factor Infertility
Male factor infertility encompasses a range of conditions affecting the quality, quantity, and motility of sperm. The most commonly identified issues include low sperm count, poor sperm motility, abnormal sperm morphology, and sperm DNA fragmentation.
In some cases a clear cause is identified — hormonal imbalance, varicocele, infection, or lifestyle factors. In others the cause remains unexplained despite thorough investigation.
What is less often discussed is the broader picture of male reproductive health — the impact of chronic stress on testosterone and sperm production, the role of the nervous system in hormonal regulation, the emotional and psychological landscape that surrounds the male fertility experience, and the subconscious beliefs and patterns that shape how men relate to parenthood, identity, and their own bodies.
These are not small factors. They are significant and they are addressable.
The Emotional Weight of Male Factor Infertility
Male factor infertility carries its own particular emotional weight and it is frequently carried in silence.
There is the shock of a semen analysis result that was not expected. The sudden confrontation with something that most men have never had reason to consider. The sense of having let down a partner, even when that feeling is completely unfounded.
There is often shame. A sense that this is not something that can be spoken about freely. That the support and community available to women on the fertility journey does not quite exist in the same way for men.
There is grief too. For the ease that was assumed. For the path that was expected and has not materialised.
And there is frequently a profound disconnection from the body. A sense of betrayal by the very systems that feel most fundamental to identity.
This is where the work we do goes deepest. Not just the physical. The whole of it.
How We Work With Male Fertility Clients
At Conscious Conception & Fertility with Claire Anstey the male partner is never an afterthought. In the Fertility Boost Programme both partners participate fully and equally in every session. The programme is designed around the whole couple, not just one half of it.
For individuals and couples where male factor infertility is part of the picture we offer two programmes:
The Fertility Boost Programme Combining Kambo, an ancient Amazonian practice, with the IAKP Fertility Acupuncture Point Sequence — four sessions over 25 days, led personally by Claire from beginning to end. For men the acupuncture points are placed on the right upper arm following the IAKP Fertility Acupuncture Point Sequence. Available in person in Beckenham, Kent, and as home visits across London, Kent, Essex, Surrey, East Sussex and West Sussex.
Conscious Conception Fertility Hypnotherapy A four hour deeply personal session working with the subconscious mind, past lives, soul contracts, ancestral patterns, forgiveness, energetic clearing, and the spiritual dimensions of the conception journey. This session is as powerful and relevant for men as it is for women. Available in person in Beckenham, Kent, and online worldwide.
Both programmes are available independently and many clients find them deeply complementary.
Due to UK advertising regulations we are sadly unable to make specific claims about what our programmes do for male factor infertility specifically. What we can share is that many of the clients who come to us navigating this experience describe feeling something shift that nothing else had reached. A sense of hope returning. A feeling of moving forward rather than standing still. A renewed connection with their body and their journey.
We invite you to read our client testimonials and make your own judgement.
A Note on Working Alongside Conventional Treatment
Many of our clients continue to work with their GP, urologist, or fertility clinic alongside their programme with us. The two approaches are not in conflict. In fact many clients find that the work they do with us supports them in engaging more fully and positively with their conventional treatment.
If you are currently undergoing investigations or treatment please let Claire know at the time of booking. She will advise on timing personally.
