Endometriosis and Conception
Conscious Conception & Fertility with Claire Anstey
If you have been diagnosed with endometriosis and you are trying to conceive, you are navigating one of the most complex and emotionally demanding intersections in the fertility world.
You may have been through surgery. You may have been told that your chances are reduced. You may be managing pain alongside the already exhausting process of trying to conceive. You may have had months or years of investigations, opinions, and treatments that have left you feeling more uncertain rather than less.
You are not alone. And you are not out of options.
Understanding Endometriosis
Endometriosis is a condition in which tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside of it, on the ovaries, fallopian tubes, and other pelvic structures. It affects an estimated one in ten women of reproductive age in the UK, though diagnosis is frequently delayed by many years.
The relationship between endometriosis and fertility is complex. Not everyone with endometriosis will experience difficulty conceiving, but for many the condition creates challenges that require careful navigation. Scar tissue, inflammation, and the impact on the ovaries and fallopian tubes can all play a role in the fertility picture.
Endometriosis is also a condition that medicine does not yet fully understand. The causes are not clearly established. The treatments available manage symptoms rather than addressing the underlying condition. And the experience of living with it, the pain, the unpredictability, the impact on daily life, is frequently underestimated by those who have not lived it.
The Emotional Weight of Endometriosis and Fertility
Endometriosis brings its own particular grief to the fertility journey.
There is the physical reality of living with a condition that causes pain, fatigue, and disruption. There is the fear that the condition is progressing, that time is working against you, that each month that passes matters more than the last.
There is often anger too. At the years it may have taken to get a diagnosis. At the surgeries and the recoveries. At the feeling of having done everything right and still not being where you hoped to be.
And beneath all of it there is frequently a profound disconnection from the body. A sense that the body has become something to fight rather than something to trust.
This is where the work we do goes deepest.
How We Work With Clients Navigating Endometriosis
Many of the clients who come to Conscious Conception & Fertility with Claire Anstey are navigating their conception journey alongside an endometriosis diagnosis. They arrive having explored many paths, surgery, hormone therapy, IVF, dietary and lifestyle approaches. Some are at the beginning of their journey. Others have been trying for years.
What brings them here is a sense that something deeper needs to shift. Something that no scan or surgical report has been able to reach.
We offer two programmes that work at that level:
The Fertility Boost Programme Combining Kambo, an ancient Amazonian practice, with the IAKP Fertility Acupuncture Point Sequence, four sessions over 25 days, led personally by Claire from beginning to end. Available in person in Beckenham, Kent, and as home visits across London, Kent, Essex, Surrey, East Sussex and West Sussex.
Conscious Conception Fertility Hypnotherapy A four hour deeply personal session working with the subconscious mind, past lives, soul contracts, ancestral patterns, forgiveness, energetic clearing, and the spiritual dimensions of the conception journey. Available in person in Beckenham, Kent, and online worldwide.
Both programmes are available independently and many clients find them deeply complementary.
Due to UK advertising regulations we are sadly unable to make specific claims about what our programmes do for endometriosis specifically. What we can share is that many of the clients who come to us navigating this condition describe feeling something shift that nothing else had reached. A sense of hope returning. A feeling of moving forward rather than standing still. A renewed connection with their body and their journey.
We invite you to read our client testimonials and make your own judgement.
A Note on Working Alongside Conventional Treatment
Many of our clients continue to work with their GP, consultant, or fertility clinic alongside their programme with us. The two approaches are not in conflict. In fact many clients find that the work they do with us supports them in engaging more fully and positively with their conventional treatment.
If you are currently on a medicated cycle, recovering from surgery, or undergoing fertility investigations please let Claire know at the time of booking. She will advise on timing personally.
